Because of the Baptist Union of Uganda and the Baptist Mission of Uganda (IMB - World Hunger) and the giving of Southern Baptists, we carried $300,000 worth of food and goods to more than 10,000 displaced persons in northern Uganda on 19 lorries.

Through relief ministries across the years more than 7,000 have been saved.

Many of these people have been in this camp for over 20 years. We saw camp after camp all across the north. There is little or no education for the children... little or no medical services.

PRAYER ALERT – Danny leaves tomorrow, May 24, to help in a huge relief project of food and supplies for the Padibe Internally Displaced Peoples Camp, in northern Uganda, near the Sudan border. Over 13,000 huts were destroyed by fire a few months ago. The conditions are deplorable in these refugee camps which are the result of the Lord’s Resistance Army and their rape of northern Uganda. There is an epidemic of cholera in the camp so please pray for the team’s health protection. Pray God will bless the evangelism efforts so these people may know the peace of Jesus Christ.

The House Churches have now bapized over 200 since January. On this day (last Sunday)there were 40+ baptized.
