LOTTIE MOON OFFERING 2006

We just heard. Our home church, Kathleen Baptist Church, Lakeland, Florida, has given over $67,700.00 to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. Also, our son's church meeting in a local school, with about 75 members, gave over $26,000.00. What a blessing to hear of the church giving so that the gospel might be preached to the ends of the earth.

Thank you from 2 of your more than 5,000 missionaries.

WE'RE HAVING A BABY!

No, no, not Claudia and me, Tim and Janet! I've had to keep quiet while they made sure that they had told family and friends there in the U.S. But, needless to say, I'm excited about being a grandfather. O, Claudia is excited too. She has already written him a letter from us. We can hardly wait until July. What a great Christmas gift!

Casting the Vision

Celebration Time!

John and his wife, our Team Leaders, hosted a celebration meal for the House Church Network with over 400 in attendance.

John used this time to recast the vision of reaching Kampala for Christ. This year started with 23 House Churches and the year ended with 64 House Churches and over 522 baptism. 90% of these house churches were started by our lay leaders. To God be the glory.

Most of our house churches are among the unreached poor of Kampala. John and his wife provide this meal as a Christmas gift to the people of the Kampala Christian Network Church. Posted by Picasa
